FASTSIGNS International, Inc. Promotes Raj Croager to Chief Information Officer

CARROLLTON, TX - FASTSIGNS International, Inc., a sign and graphics franchisor with nearly 500 locations worldwide, has promoted Raj Croager, formerly the company’s vice president of information technology, to a newly created position of chief information officer.

In his new role, Croager will be a key player in providing strategic direction for technology initiatives that take place within FASTSIGNS International’s corporate office and throughout the franchise network. He reports to Mary Ryan, the company’s chief financial officer.

“Raj understands how important technology is to our network and to our organization,” said Gary Salomon, the company’s co-founder and chief executive officer. “He’s a great combination of an IT visionary and a pragmatist, so that the information technology solutions he and his department develop are practical, effective and helpful to our center owners as well as corporate employees.”

Croager began working at FASTSIGNS International in 1996 as a franchise business consultant (FBC) supporting FASTSIGNS® centers in the United States. Three years later, he moved to the information technology (IT) department, and in 2001, was named director of information technology. Two years later, Croager was promoted to vice president of information technology.

In 1998, Croager was honored as the company’s FBC of the year, and in 2002, he received the top award given annually to a company employee. In 2006, he received his certification as a Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) from the International Franchise Association, a worldwide franchising organization.
